House Barbara is a boutique four-star accommodation located in the heart of Celje’s historic old town, a city with a rich history spanning nearly 900 years. It is a newly constructed building, faithfully preserving the appearance of a 19th-century house on the original foundations. The property features a charming courtyard and is embraced by medieval city walls, connected to the Water Tower by an archway. The house is actually built within the defensive moat of medieval Celje, giving it a unique historical character.

All the city’s main attractions are just a few steps away, and numerous bars, cafés, and restaurants are also within easy reach. Thanks to its location by the river, guests have immediate access to the riverside promenade along the Savinja, which crosses a bridge leading to a magnificent park and the city forest, or you can stroll beneath rows of old plane trees down to the summer swimming pool by the lake.
